Fade-effect red and black and stylistic innovation  combine in the new shirts of OGC Nice

The French Ligue 1 team of OGC Nice and Macron, technical partner to the club, have revealed the new match kits that the Red and Blacks will wear next season. The “Home” shirt features the club’s traditional colours but is highly innovative in its graphics and design. The “Away” kit boasts more refined styling while the “Third” kit is highly experimental in its use of colours, graphics and “street art” design.

The new “Home” shirt is characterised by traditional red and black vertical stripes. It has a black polo neck with thin red and white lines and a knitted central insert. The originality of the graphics and styling lies in the dye-sub printed red and black stripes which fade from top to bottom on one half of the shirt and from bottom to top on the other half. This eye-catching fade effect is reproduced full-body, both front and back. The backneck us customised with the club’s logo and the lettering “OGC Nice”, repeated in another fade effect. The club’s motto, “ISSA NISSA”, is embroidered in white on the back of the shirt, just under the neck. The Macron Hero logo is silicone printed on the right breast and the badge of OGC Nice on the left over the heart. The “Home” kit is completed by black shorts with two red and white stripes at the top.

The “Away” shirt is white with a knitted crew neck and sleeve cuffs. In the centre of the shirt, front and back are three dye-sub printed vertical stripes, two black around one red. The same two-coloured band is repeated on the left of the shirt. The shirt’s backneck and back yoke have the same details as the “Home” version. The Macron Hero logo is silicone printed in black on the breast alongside the badge of the French club. The “Away” shorts and socks are white, with the calf of the socks repeating the red and black stripes of the shirt.

The “Third” match kit is highly original and features a modern, “street art” look in orange and purple, with the latter colour being the most dominant. The dye-sub graphics feature a fading optical effect that merges the two colours from left to right on the front and back of the shirt. The crew neck shirt has a customised backneck and carries the motto “ISSA NISSA” embroidered in white on the half-moon back yoke. The Macron Hero logo and the badge of OGC Nice are both silicone printed in white on the breast. The shorts are purple and the socks are orange with a purple top.

All three of OGC Nice’s new shirts are Slim Fit and made mainly from Softlock with micromesh inserts for light weight and excellent breathability.
