A GEOMETRIC EAGLE GRACES THE SHIRTS OF THE ALBANIAN NATIONAL SQUAD
The Albanian Football Association and Macron have unveiled the new kit that the Shqiponjat will be wearing in Albania’s next international matches. All versions feature graphics inspired by the famous two-headed eagle.
The “Home” kit includes a round neck shirt in traditional red with black details that repeat on the sleeve cuffs. The backneck is decorated with the FSHF logo and the wording “FEDERATA SHQIPTARE E FUTBOLLIT”. The two-headed eagle that symbolises the team and Albania appears in stylised, geometric, tone on tone, dye-sub print on the front of the shirt. A silicone printed Macron Hero logo adorns the right breast, with the badge of Albania on the left. “ALBANIA” is embroidered on the back of the neck.
One of this shirt’s unique characteristics is a tape that runs around the bottom inside, bearing the words “Ti Shqipëri, më jep nder” (You Albania, honour me), a quote from the Albanian team’s motto, repeated and interspersed with the eagle logo.
The “Away” kit again comprises a round neck shirt, but this time in total white apart from red details on the collar and cuffs. This shirt too features the geometric tone on tone eagle motif along with the inside tape around the bottom and embroidered writing on the back of the neck. A black silicone Macron Hero logo appears on the right breast, accompanied by the badge of the Albanian national squad on the left.
The “Third” shirt is in “total black” and features the same graphics, designs and details as the Home and Away shirts.
