Playa Malvarrosa inspires new Levante Home and Away kits

The Paseo Marítimo along Playa Malvarrosa, the best known and most famous of Valencia's beaches, is the protagonist of the new Home and Away shirts of Levante UD, the oldest club in the Spanish city. The design of the pavement that runs along the beach is in fact the graphic motif that characterises the new match kits that the 'Granotas' will wear in the next competitive season.

The strong link between the city and its symbolic places are combined with the strength of tradition and colours that have always distinguished the Valencian club. Also important is the message of sustainability and respect for the environment that these jerseys represent thanks to the shared commitment between club and technical partner. All the uniforms made by Macron for Levante UD are made from Eco Fabric, a fabric produced from 100% recycled plastic.

Levante's new 'Home' kit for the 2023-24 season comes in the traditional azul-grana (navy-garnet) vertical stripes. The collar is a polo shirt with a three-button closure and the hem has a thin yellow stripe, a colour that, combined with garnet, we also find on the sleeve edges. The backneck is customised with the club's colours and logo, the Macron logo, and the words Designed in Bologna, certifying and highlighting how each garment is conceived, designed and developed in the Macron Headquarters. The graphic feature that distinguishes the jersey is the all over sublimation print, tone on tone, both front and back, of the diamond pattern of the pavement of the Paseo Marítimo in Playa Malvarrosa. On the bottom of the jersey, there is an internal silicone tape personalised with the motto, repeated and interspersed with the club's logo, Sempre en lo cor (one of the phrases from the hymn of the Coronation of the Virgen de los Desemparados, the graphic theme of Levante's new Third). On the chest, on the right and in white, the Macron Hero, and on the left the club's coat of arms. The shorts are navy blue with yellow drawstrings and a side border in garnet. The navy blue socks with garnet upper border have on the calf, in white, one of the rhombuses that make up the graphics of the jersey. The fabric used for the jersey is Eco Softlock with Eco Mesh inserts.

The 'Away' version is white with three vertical bands in navy blue, one in the middle and the other two on the sides. The collar is V-shaped with a knitted border and there is an azul-grana square on both the inside and the outside of the back part. The backneck is personalised identically to the Home kit and on the bottom of the jersey is the silicone tape with the motto Sempre en lo cor. The sublimation graphic with the diamond pattern of the pavement that runs along Playa Malvarrosa is also present in this version, but only inside the navy blue vertical bands. On the chest, the Macron Hero is in blue next to the Levante UD crest. The white shorts have side bands in navy blue, same colour as the upper and middle bands in the white socks. The fabric used for the Away jersey is Eco Piola, again with Eco Mesh inserts that ensure perfect breathability.

The new jerseys, as well as the garments of the line created by Macron for Levante U.D., will soon be available for purchase online in the dedicated section on macron.com.
