A HISTORY BUILT ON THE FIELD
1971: birth of MACRON, the Italian company that produces “teamwear”, specialised technical-sports apparel. The company is based in Bologna and soon becomes a reference for the production of teamwear for the great Italian and international brand names.

A MEMORABLE TURNING POINT
1997 was the turning point: MACRON started to develop its own brand, directly performing all the activities relative to conception, design, prototyping and distribution of technical apparel for football, basketball, volleyball and baseball. Thirty years later, MACRON has become synonymous with the leading brand on the market.

SPOTLIGHTS ON THE COMPANY
In 2001 the MACRON adventure in professional football begins. That was the year of the first contract with a big professional league Italian football team, Bologna FC 1909. From then on, the MACRON brand has become more and more visible on the jerseys of the finest and most famous teams in the world.
The important partnerships signed out of this venture have also set the conditions for a more and more focused technical development of the products, both in design and materials.
SUCCESS BECOMES WORLDWIDE

Since 2005 MACRON has expanded its horizons and opened to the world: from Italy to Europe was the first historical leap, followed by the United States, Canada and now the Middle East. MACRON products are seen more and more on professional as well as amateur athletes. Reliability and determination: these are values that have always been winners in sports, and are also the foundations of MACRON’s success.
